dog sniffing my crotch..?

Okay, so... when I was with my friend the other day, her puppy would not quit getting in my lap and sniffing my crotch!! It was really embarrassing... do I smell bad? Or have a strong scent? Is this a normal thing for puppies/dogs to do?

They're just picking up on your hormones!! They will do it more often if your on your period, about to be on your period, or pregnant!

Everyone has a different scent down there and that's a way for them to recognize you! I know it's weird, but dogs think they're just being friendly lol. Just move them away from you a few times and they should stop
