ultra sound concern
Hey there mommas
So I'm a mom to a healthy happy almost 11 month old and due with another baby girl in June. I had my 21 week appointment today and we went over the ultra sound & a risk of downs due to what's called Echogenic intracardiac Focus was brought up. My doctor told me that it's a lightened tissue in the ventricles of the heart that stand out in the ultra sound. I'm not considered a high risk pregnancy either but I guess what I'm wondering is if anyone on here has had this shown on their ultrasound and it turn out to be nothing or if I should be preparing myself a little more mentally for the possibilities?
