Need advice-frustrated!

So I've had my OBGYN for over 8 years. He delivered my daughter and he's just a wonderful doctor overall. Well over the past year I've had a few abnormal pap results (hpv-cancer causing). Well last week he did a colposcopy and biopsy of my cervix. The nurse called yesterday saying he didn't get enough tissue so the results came back insignificant, and that he wants me to just come back in 6 months to repeat my pap. I'm for one upset for no results, and also paying $200 for the procedure that left me still wondering what is wrong. The nurse said since my pap wasn't a high risk pap he rather just redo the pap again opposed to redoing the colposcopy. What do I do? Wait 6 months or should I go get a 2nd opinion. 2nd opinion means coughing up $200 more dollars as well. Yes my life is worth it but would that be the next necessary thing or should I just wait 6 more months?
