Tethered spinal cord
Has anyone heard of a tethered spinal cord? Or better yet has anyone experienced this with any of your children?
My 19 week old daughter was diagnosed with a tethered spinal cord & has to undergo an MRI in a few weeks along with sedation to undergo the MRI.
Praying & hoping for the best. This is probably the most I've ever been truly afraid. And I wish I could take my daughter's place in this situation.
If the MRI results return in our favor she won't need to have surgery. But if her tethered spinal cord stump is thick, she will need to go through surgery.
Any information would help...
