Average weight gain?

Question

I've always heard BF babies don't put on weight as fast as formula fed babies and tend to loose weight at first. My son is 24 days old and he's gained 2lbs since his last appointment 2 weeks ago. 
Just wondering what other BF babies are gaining or if my little man is just a ham?

My girl was born at 9lbs 10oz and came home at 9lbs 1oz.  By her 2 week appointment, she already weighed 10lbs 6oz.  We haven't weighed her again since then, but she definitely feels heavier.  We're doing exclusive breast feeding and I swear my breast milk is like miracle grow 😂😂😂

Some breastfed babies actually gain weight faster than formula fed babies. Some of the chubbiest ones I've seen have been exclusively breastfed. My daughter went from 5 lb 14 oz at birth to 7 lb 4 oz at 2 weeks. Is just about 4 weeks now and I would put money that she is close to 9 lbs. some moms make cream instead of milk :)

My baby girl was born at 38weeks weighing 6.14lbs (she lost alil weight after she was born, at her two weeks appointment she was 7.1lbs, and now at one month n 23days her weight is 10lbs

My baby was born 6 lbs 4 Oz and we did spend some time in NICU when she came home she was 5 lbs 14oz at her 2 week she was back up to birth weight. We had to go see our hematologist on Wednesday and she is the same weight. Is that normal?

My son gained 5 pounds in28 days. But I'm pretty sure that is not normal, he just really loves the boob.

My lactation group leader says the average weight gain to target is an ounce a day. That's average, though!

EBF babies actually may gain faster in the beginning but their growth slows later on while formula babies keep growing fast. This is why the AAP ended up redoing the growth curves for breastfed babies.

My girl was 7 lb 10oz the day she was born, lost a bit of weight the first few days but was back up to 7 15oz at 2 weeks and then now is at 9lb 7pz at 5 weeks old. :)

My son is 23 days old. He was 8lbs 8oz at birth, lost a bit, then gained it all back and then some. At his 3 week checkup yesterday he weighed 10lbs 3oz.
