What is next?

Well, look what I found out last night. Calling the doctor today!! Kinda nervous. What happens at the first doctors appt??? Do they just "confirm" you are in fact pregnant?

Depending on your doctor, they may want to see you right away to confirm the pregnancy and figure out exactly how far along you are and they would tell you your due date. They would give you other information about how to take care of yourself and your diet and exercise, etc. And they would schedule your first ultrasound appointment. That's how mine was anyway.

It really all depends on the doctor. They will for sure make sure your pregnant though. I'm on baby #2 and with a different doctor than my first. With #1 I swear I peed in a cup every visit and went in super early maybe 6 weeks. #2 I was 9 weeks and didn't pee in a cup at all. They did an ultrasound. Both doctors did a pelvis exam. Only difference is #2 won't do as many as #1 which was every visit. Just the differences in doctors and practices.

My doc just scheduled an appt at 9 weeks. She waited until you were at least 8 weeks to see you.
