Second time moms who had a c section with first baby. Going for a scheduled c or VBAC?

I would like a vbac because I had 2 vaginal births and then 1 c section and I hated the c section because I knew how easy the vaginal recovery was in comparison. But I'm nervous about the risks so I'm not certain.

Thanks for responding, everyone. I was just curious. I had a c section with my first after a very long labor. He changed positions and was undeliverable. Most likely going the scheduled c section at 39 weeks route unless baby shows up early and labor progresses safely on its own.

I had 2 c-sections one almost 10 years ago and one a little over 8 years ago im really hoping to go the vbac route this time mostly for recovery purposes

I had a c section with my son because his head was stuck under my pelvic bone. I'm 23 weeks pregnant now and my doctor thinks it's a good idea to do a scheduled c section at 39 weeks because it could very well happen again with me being as small as I am. But if I was to go into labor earlier than 39 weeks I may try to push. Just depends on what she's measuring towards the end because my son always measured big.

My water broke with my first and I was in labor for 17 hours. Dialated to 9cm but never got to 10 😞 Ended up having a csection. During the csection they found out the umbilical cord was short. Second was a scheduled csection and I'm 25 weeks with #3 which is also a scheduled csection at 39 weeks.

I wish I was able to do vbac. Doc said my body will never allow anything larger than 4 pounds out naturally though.
