ice pack on pelvic bones and lower back?

Is it okay to ice my pelvic bones and lower back? I'm due in 8 weeks and the pains excruciating to where I can't sleep. Someone said icing it could turn my baby breech but I wasn't sure if that was true

it's fine. And even if your baby turned at this point, it's too early to be of any concern (sorry, I know it's super obnoxious to have someone refer to you as "early" this late in the game lol. I only mean in terms of your child's position).
