Protein??

Question

So I was told I had protein in my urine. 
What does that mean?

I had a high risk pregnancy due to gestational hypertension that led to preeclampsia. Protein in ur urine is a sign of it but it can also mean u aren't drinking enough water. I kno the weeks that I drank plenty of it there was not a trace of it in my urine

Also if you've had intercourse in the last 24 hours it can show high protein. As long as your bp is OK I wouldn't stress to much
