is birth that bad?😫😫😫😫

I'm a plus size mum, first time mum, I'm 21.

So scared to give birth😶how bad actually is it?

I was 20 when I had my first. The labouring at home was the worst. When I got to the hospital I was 3-4cm dilated and they're like 'why didn't you come in earlier?!' Well hmm I dunno. My first kid I didn't know how bad it had to hurt for me to be able to be admitted to the hospital lol. I was in labour for 27 hours, than ended in a emergency c section.

Overall I'd do it again that way. Try a vbac but I'm not able to. So I have a scheduled c section in may this time.

It's the contractions that are bad. Actually giving birth isn't that bad. Recovery for me was a lot better than I expected. A couple Motrin took all my pain and soreness away. Was feeling great at probably 4-5 days pp.

It all depends... if you go into labor on your own, you may experience more pain alone. I was induced but I didn't feel contractions till after I was at like 6 cm ... which is when I got the epidural..... then I only felt pressure... and after that, I felt the uncomfortable need and desire to push. It's like you're badly constipated and your lower back is pressured. I pushed... and 5 minutes later my son was out... I didn't feel any pain tbh. I also wasn't afraid. I didn't take any classes... I trusted God and my body and the amazing pain meds to help me through and everything worked out. We're women... only we can do this and even if you experience pain, it's only till the baby is out. Your vagina will be on fire for a few days but that dies out too lol

No its not I've had two and one on the way no meds no epi  just some pressure but everyone is different

It's not that bad, I mean I made it out alive and I was willing to do it again. It hurts yes but it's a different pain. And they have pain meds that makes it feel like a breeze! So don't freak yourself out!

Apparently it's different for everyone. I don't think you can go into it prepared, even if it's not your first.

Honestly every woman and birth experiences are different. For some it is horribly painful for others it's a breeze and some, it's right in the middle. I would say mine was around the middle. It hurt but it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. To me, having an ulcer is worse. The pain was tolerable when I had my daughter. I just was so uncomfortable and tired due to being up all night prior. I'm hoping when I have my little boy, my experience is about the same, if not better. But like I said, all women and births are different.

It's not pleasant and not like any type of pain I can describe but it stops hurting when baby is out. If it was that bad then we wouldn't keep doing it ☺ and if you're struggling to cope with the pain then you can have pain relief/epidural.x
