baby led weaning?

Question

Any moms who are doing baby led weaning?
How is it going so far? What did you start with?
I've become curious about it and looked up some videos on YT I saw the part where they gag..and now I'm not sure if I can handle that without panicking! My LO gags sometimes because of drool or his reflux or when drinking water sometimes.. and I already panic.. I'd love to hear about your experiences! TIA!

Yup! We do BLW. We started with steamed broccoli, colli flower, carrots and some bananas. We now eat everything lol. We cooked uo some chicken tenders last night and seasoned ours and left hers plain and she LOVED it! We also do mashed potatoes, oatmeal, mac and cheese, and lota if different gerber baby snacks :)! I was soo scared too but I just jumped in and let her lead and she does amazing.

After a few times of trying, I know longer worry about the gagging. It was surprising for me how much control my baby had over what was going on in his mouth.

This scares me because they have no teeth well mine has two bottom ones but still scares me we give him baby food and cereal he snacks on stuff that melts in his mouth and I give him mashed potatoes but that's it and he is my third baby lol

I read about it and went for it! My LO loves it, because she have so much fun playing with it. I started with 🍌 and now dhe have ate quite different stuff. Definitely easier on me and more fun for her.

Yep, we are. Join the baby led weaning group. It's going well. Meal time is play time, and she loves it.
