DOES EVERY WOMAN LOSES THE MUCUS PLUG??

DO WE ALL PREGNANT WOMAN LOSE THE MUCUS PLUG DAYS OR WEEKS BEFORE GIVING BIRTH? OR SOME OF US DONT NEED TO LOSE IT? OR IS IT A MUST??

I was induced, which made me aware of mine. I had gone to pee and had a huge glob of bloody snot looking stuff on my toilet paper.

I never noticed I lost mine. All I had was an increase in clear discharge and then my water broke.

You may not notice it come out. It may happen when you're already in labor and in the hospital.

It can happen while pushing, or it can happen weeks before. Every woman HAS a mucus plug, that will eventually have to come out.

With my first baby i didn't loose my plug nor did my water break just woke up one night with really bad contractions and went to the hospital

From my understanding everyone loses it, when it happens varies and whether or not you notice it varies.
