What r some causes of still born I'm nervous I don't wanna loose my baby my doctor says everything is going perfectly but I still get scared

Sometimes it just happens other times the cord gets tied in a knot or around Thier neck. Other times it's a blood clot

I've had a stillbirth. It was a normal pregnancy up until my third trimester. It could be due to abnornalities, problems with the placenta, problems with the umbilical cord, problems with blood clotting, it could be a number of things or it could be due to nothing at all, or atleast something unknown. I think I was told that with around 50% of stillbirths the cause isn't. It is very unlikely to happen though and if everything is normal or there is no previous history, I think the percentage is 1% or 0.5%.

It's good to be informed though, to be wary of signs but it's also good to enjoy your pregnancy because worry isn't any good for the baby either. Just keep positive, you want baby to be happy in there and not stressing out. And if it comes down to it, trust your maternal instincts, you know your body better than you think 😊.

I too am scared of this. My midwife assures me I've had 3 healthy previous pregnancies and births this baby is doing perfect and she says not to be so anxious as it's not as common as u think.. but still worries us mummy's to be a lot of the time if it happens it can be abnormalities or placenta failiure which can sometimes be noticed before baby is born so it can be prevented possibly. Xx
