My husband and I have been TTC now for 5 years, mostly an on/off thing. Well, we contributed a lot of it to our weight. Last year my husband had weight loss surgery and has lost almost 200lbs! We recently have started having sex more often not thinking anything of it, until this past week I have been very moody and my breasts have been very tender. I always get sore breasts with my period, but this was different, I could tell. So yesterday morning when I got up I decided what can it hurt to take a pregnancy test, it had expired last year but I used it anyway. So I did my usual song and dance, and then waited, and waited some more. To my surprise I look down and my expired digital Clear Blue test reads pregnant! Holy crap!!!!! I am in shock!!!!! So I go back into my bedroom, wake my husband up and wave the pregnancy test in his face. All while my sleepy husband is trying to figure out what is going on, I get dressed and ready to leave to go purchase a new new pregnancy test. So I come home and I'm drinking fluids like it's a game, I do my song and dance a second time, it's a plus sign! Faint plus sign but you can definitely see the second line! So I continue to drink and take a 3rd digital test and it says NOT pregnant. I am a RN so I know possibilities of false negatives so I start researching and post my dilemma here on Glow. My urine was too diluted from all that fluid for it to read for hCG. So then I go and purchase a box of first response pregnancy tests and I wait until this morning when my urine is most concentrated. I did both tests at the same time and they both came back positive!!!! I woke my husband up again and he is so excited, I am beyond words to describe how I feel, God has blessed me with the most precious gift and I promise to give the best of myself for this baby!!!!
