Did you eat at all during labor?

I went into labor at work I work at the hospital I delivered at and before I went to get checked to see if it was real labor I ate best decision I ever made lol

I'm 35 weeks FTM, my doula and ob both ok'd me to eat as long as there's no complications.  I'm eating a real salami, Turkey, avacado, sandwich when my labor starts (early is best) ☺ I've missed epic deli meat and sandwiches so much! Later my ob wants me to switch to Apple sauce, electrolytes, etc but trust I will eat that dang sandwich! ❤

I think I could have eaten if I wanted to but I was so sick to my stomach and threw up a few times. Hunger was the last thing on my mind! I had a relatively quick (11 hour) labor though.

With my first, I was induced and had my "last meal" before I went in. With my second, hubby brought me Chipotle (😍😍😍) while I was getting the introductory dose of pitocin. With my third, no.

Gram crackers and ice water... my labor went by fast got there 330am only 2cm but contractions were too close by 1027am I was ready to push.

I'm packing nuts and dried fruits for labor. The research saying you shouldn't eat is old and flawed so it's allowed where I'll be delivering

I wasn't allowed to eat. However they did have the option for ice chips or pop cicles, I was in too much pain to eat. Even though I was starving.

They have always told me you're not allowed to eat during labor but they allowed me to have jello and popsicles
