Thoughts about breast feeding ??

It truly depends on mama and baby. My eldest wouldn't latch no matter what I tried. I went to lactation specialists, tried nipple shields and everything else they suggested. After 3 months of strictly pumping I just couldn't do it anymore and decided to formula feed.  However with my second he latched from the get go and I had a great experience. I just weaned him off at 2 years old. I'm now pregnant with my third and hope to breastfeed again. Honestly I say try it as breast milk is great for your little one. However if it doesn't work for you don't stress it. Your health is just as important; physically mentally and emotionally. Best of luck!

Yes and No. it really depends on you, your baby and many other circumstances. 
It can hurt like hell, it can be exhausting, it can be frustrating at times and you can easily become a human pacifier after some months. 
But it is free, it can be done anywhere and anytime, it can really help with bonding, it can really contribute to baby's health (while he/she is very small. 
It can be hard and painful, but it also can be smooth and pain free. 
It can be extremely easy and beneficial during traveling , during nighttime or in case of illness. 
It can be fast or it can take hours on end. 
Breastfeeding can help you lose weight or can make you gain even more weight. It can feel restrictive (foods and drinks), or it can feel no such big deal.

Whatever you will chose or try, the main thing is that you're not a hero or a failure, you are not the best or the worst. You should make whatever makes you keep you sane, relaxed and happy. 
It's better to be happy and enjoy your baby while bottle feeding than to be a frustrated mess trying to breastfeed. It can go the other way around. 
The most relevant thing is being sane, peaceful, happy and positive while taking care of your baby. Choose what makes both of you happy!

It's worked out great for me and I highly recommend it. For me at least it felt easier once I got going. No bottles or measuring and nighttime was simple and I got more sleep. 
I definitely didn't start out well and it was really tough and discouraging, but by like 4 weeks old things got better.

Breastfeeding is supposedly the best. But in my case she wouldn't latch on and it hurt like hell, so I formula feed her

I have never had the desire to breastfeed personally. Not sure why but it's something that I said I don't think I'll ever do. So now that I'm pregnant with my first it really has me thinking about it, and I still don't think I'm going to. For a few reasons, but that's just me personally, I know it can be a great experience for others.

I breast fed my first baby until he was 18 months old and he stopped because my milk changed due to me being pregnant

It was hell!
I honestly stressed most of the time that he wasn't getting enough when he was younger!

It was messy!
I never hurt when I fed him but my supply was waaaay to high and make my boobs rocks.... and hurt 😭

It took him months to latch and I was so determined to do what was best for him and not what was best for US

I personally think it's not worth it sometimes.. if it comes easy to you and baby and it's what you want go for it!

But please don't make yourself do it because you feel like you have to

my son was just as sick as any other baby breast fed or formula fed

It's incredibly time consuming and makes you worry whether baby is getting enough..BUT so incredibly worth it. The bond and cuddles and everything about watching your baby grow and thrive from you is amazing. I've wanted to repeatedly quit but 5.5 months later and still going strong ❤

I only made it to a month when I breastfed. It was so painful and pumping made me miserable. It's not for everyone but kudos to the moms that keep up with it. I say at least try it, but if it doesn't work for you then switch to formula.
