If you got your form of bc from your pharmacy (pill/patch/etc.), read the information pamphlet that came with it to see what your window of protection is. Or Google your type of bc and see what information is on there. Next time pull out and/or use a condom.

If it's the pill you're taking if you started on the first day of your period you are usually protected straight away. If you didn't then it can take a couple of weeks. Take the morning after pill to be safe if you are worried
