do you think it's ok to mix superhero from D.C. and Marvel

So I husband and I are thinking about doing the baby's room in superheros. We like both Marvel and D.C. I told my mom about it and she said I should do ether D.C. or Marvel but not both. Would it be bad to do both? Because I like some from both and so does my husband but not all.

My husband doesn't mind mixing but it bugs me. We have this really nice framed poster with mixed characters and it drives me nuts haha They are separate universes! They don't belong together! But I acknowledge I'm a little crazy about this...

Thanks everyone. We still not sure if it is what we are going to do. Just talking about It. We have some very big nerds in our families. Both his and mine. So someone will notice but I omost don't care. I try not to but was thinking maybe it would be weird to do both. I think if we do superheros we will do both.
