Opinion on Elimination Communication?

Whats your thoughts on EC? 
The main gist of it is toilet training your baby from 0 -18 months old! Some babies are completely toilet trained by 5 months old!
I think its so strange, but a cool concept.
Would you do it?

It's not "training" your baby at 5 months. Physically a baby cannot hold and control their bladders until 18 months. It is recognizing your child's signs for elimination and getting them to the bathroom to do so at the right time. If you can the time and energy for that, awesome for you. It will only work for a stay at home parent. They use this method in countries where diapering isn't really an option and it works. I would also worry about scheduling my life around my child's bathroom breaks. I run a lot of errands. My sons are in hockey and it's at all different times. Grocery shopping and other shopping... I have a baby

Personally I don't have time for that. I work a demanding career and I have three kids. I did use cloth diapers though and loved them. I had no issue potty training my kids when they were ready.

Honestly,  I don't have the time or patience for that.

I find this very interesting. My pediatrician told me he had a patient that was potty trained with this method. I don't think I could do it though.
