Depends on your situation. If you're not worried about STIs (which you should be unless you're in a monogamous long term relationship) then condoms aren't necessary when on birth control. But some people like it as a back up method just in case. My boyfriend and I use condoms with the pill because getting pregnant would be very bad for us right now. It's an added precaution but you don't need one. It's what you're comfortable with.
