Nexplanon Early Side Effects?

So I've now had Nexplanon for a little over a month. So far I had no issues with it now that it's fully healed. But last week I was supposed to start my period, and have not even spotted once still. My periods were never irregular before. Now every once in a while these past few days, I started having mild period-like cramps. Aside from a little bloating and a small fit of breaking out, I haven't had any sign of bleeding yet. Is this normal for the first month of Nexplanon? I've only heard of girls having constant bleeding the first few months but never losing their periods entirely right away.
