If I'm bleeding while on the birth control shot the Depo-Provera can I still get pregnant if I'm bleeding? Cause me and my boyfriend want to do it tonight but he's worried I might get pregnant

It just depends; I know someone who got pregnant while on the shot while I was on it for 12 years and never did.
With that being said, if you ever want kids in the future I would consider switching up your birth control. The shot really messes a woman's body up. Some get pregnant coming right off it but then again I know women who have been trying for yeeeeaaaaars and it can't happen. Just food for thought.

Aside from your question. Please find another form of birth control. They say with the DEPO shot it will take you how ever long you have been taking the shot to get pregnant. So if you are on it for 4 years it will take you 4 years to concieve. It's a killer to fertility. I really hope you change your mind because one day you will want to start a family and it's heartbreaking if you can't as soon as you'd like to 💜
