two jobs?

Question

My husband wants to get second job. We really need the money! But if he takes it he will be working 3am - 6pm 5 days a week with only enough of a break to drive from one job to the other. Would you let your husband/be/so do this?
Btw, I have a job, at which I work 60 hrs a week. So this wouldn't be instead of me working.
Update: thanks for everyone's opinions, I was already wanting to tell him no, but just needed to hear some other views. We can find another way. Thanks.

If you need the money you do what you have to do and hope that it's only temporary. My father worked almost around the clock when me and my brother were young to afford keeping my mom home with us and pay all the bills. Things get better.... but unfortunately, sometimes you have to make sacrifices to make ends meet.

No. Time with our daughter is more important for us. Instead, I work so she gets time with both of us.

If you need the money yes, but I'd feel bad for him because eventually he's going to burn out. Can you both look for more gainful employment so that neither has to work two jobs?

I wouldn't do it. I would figure out ways to save money. Also, discern what are needs and what are things you just want. I don't think the extra money is worth the time you will spend apart. My hubby has a very demanding job with long hours depending on the week. It's hard on us but more than that it's really hard on him. Whenever he gets off he needs to sleep but no matter what he's always really exhausted.
