5 month old baby girl has hair down there!!???
Okay, I am trying my best to remain calm, but postpartum anxiety amplifies every. single. thing.
I've noticed over the last couple of weeks that my little girl has really fine, colorless hair on the lips of her vagina. She did not have the hair when she was born, and she does not have body hair. She's very fair and has light red hair on her head, and blonde eyebrows, so I'm sure her pubic hair will naturally be light anyway.
I've read that fine, colorless hair on a baby's genitals is not a cause for concern, but I'm also reading about early puberty, pituitary gland issues, and bone age scans 😱
We have a doctor's appointment next week to talk to the doc about it, but I don't know if I'll be able to sleep until then unless I hear that this has happened to other littles out there.
So.. did any of your babies develop fine, peach fuzz down there?? Does it go away, like the newborn body hair?? Will I have a toddler with pubic hair?? I can't stop worrying 😭😭
