has anyone taken unisom for nausea?

Question

I take a full one at night (for about 2 weeks) but I'm supposed to start taking half a dose in the morning. It's a sleep aid so it makes me drowsy. Has anyone taken it a night then smaller doses in the day. Is it the drowsiness manageable? 
It helped my nausea the first week but now I'm feeling nauseous again (not as nauseous as with no medication though).

I took the Unisom only before bed & 25mg of vitamin B6 3x/day. They work together well & it really helped without the daytime drowsiness risk (I drive a fair amount for work so I didn't want to risk it).

Bear in mind too that you may still have some nausea with any meds you take. It's more a question of getting it to be bearable.

I have been taking half a dose in the morning and at night, sometimes I take the full dose at night it just depends and it has helped me so much! I thank god for it🙏

I took a half of one with vitamin b6 the first time I had my nausea and it literally knocked me out. Im the kind of person that uses earplugs and an eye mask to sleep. I literally fell asleep in the car while my husband was driving home. My nausea ended up being so bad, nothing helped. I ended up with a prescription that I still have to use every couple days. 23 weeks and 6 days.

I always took a full unisom and 75mg of B6 before bed. It helped with the nausea a lot.
