How long did your pain last from your IUD?

Question

I'm getting the Paragard IUD soon and was wondering how long the pain lasted for people after their IUD was inserted.

Just want to know what to expect, and see the popular answer.

When I got my paragard I had very minor cramping , ( I forget when my period came ) but once I got my period I was in hurled up in bed crying bc of the pain was so severe . 10/10 hands Down. I've had my paragard since September & a week  before my period comes I get 8/10 cramps . Once my period arrives it stays around 7/10 intensity of pain. 
Those random cramps during random times are insanely unbelievable .
