period or postpartum?

I'm 5 weeks postpartum I'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday can I get my period now? Or would it just be my postpartum bleeding coming back?

Answer

It could be either, but if the last time you bled was just a day or two ago and it isn't heavy it could still be pp. Mine would kinda stop and start again towards the end. If it starts to be a heavy flow for days it's likely your period.
