My husband and I have been going to look for cars and finally found a dealer that accepts his tax ID. My husband is working on getting his social soon. Most dealers require couples to both have a SS but this one that we found says they accept everyone, even bad credit. The plan this dealer made with us is since my credit is good and my husband brings home the income, we are eligible to purchase. So first off, the cars they sell are junk with over 150,000 miles on them. My husband and I both requested if we can order the vehicle that we want and they said that's fine but we'd have to leave a down payment first. So last Friday night we came by and left $3,000 and they agreed to encounter the vehicle we want and have it by this weekend. I know we're dumb and it's a f*ckinf big mistake!! I called the dealer and they said they still do not have the vehicle and to wait another week. I just read some reviews about the dealer and they have terrible reviews. People have mentioned how shady and crooked they are. Now I'm at lost because I don't believe they will get the vehicle we requested but they have our money. I said since you don't have the vehicle today we're going to get our money back! The salesman said to be patient and they'll get our car by next week. I find this BS!! I can't believe I lost so much money like this 😭 Should I wait or should I report them?
