No periods after pregnancy!?!!

So I heard that while youre breast feeding exclusively, you dont get your period?? Is this true?

I exclusively breastfed both babies and after my first, I got pregnant before I had my first period (which was 5 months) and I think with my second it was about the same. He nursed non stop all day and night every 1.5-2 hours like clockwork and my period still came back after only a few months. But I have a friend who breastfed and hers didn't come back until she was nursing less. I think each women is different. I'm pregnant with my 3rd and hoping my period stays away longer this time lol

It depends on the person. I was EBF and got my period at 6 weeks pp.

Not true at all. I exclusively breastfed on demand..14 months and 24 months...my first started solids at 12 months my 2nd at 7.5 yet at 6 weeks post partum both times i got my period

It honestly depends on the person but most the time that's correct. I nursed for 13 months and no period and no pregnancy, as soon as I stopped I had a period the following month and became pregnant! 😊 Same thing with my sister, al her kids (4) are about 2 years apart because she wouldn't have a period while breastfeeding. Now I do have a friend who breastfed and had a period and became pregnant a couple months after giving birth.

I breastfed and I had a period very early on. I got my period back when I was still nursing around the clock and exclusively. 
I didn't get pregnant again, but it really sucked. It's really uncomfortable breastfeeding a 3month old and taking care of yourself whilst on period days.
