How do I count contractions as a first time mom and when to go to the hospital?

I'm a mom to be and I think for an half an HR not sure but it hasn't been that long I think I'm having contractions around 10 mins apart. I'm kinda half asleep right now because it's 7 am where I'm at. Not sure if I should try to sleep or what. They last about 30 secs a little less and I'm 41 w and 1 day

They're early ones. Try to sleep if you can. If you go now and you're not dilated enough, they may send you back. Once they get closer together, you should call or go in.

Depending on how far you are from the hospital you might want to go now. I went when I was about 4 mins apart with contractions. But it sounds like you're having a baby today so yay!
