Has your SO researched anything about pregnancy, birth, or newborn care?

I'm wondering how other people's significant others are doing about being involved in the process of the pregnancy and birth. My husband has been helpful in making me feel well during pregnancy, but he knows absolutely nothing about labor, birth, and newborns and has not shown any concern or care about it! He will research the silliest things for hours, but won't Google anything about being a good birthing partner even though I've asked him if he could do that for me 🙁 I'm just worried because I will likely be induced early because of a risk of still birth due to a liver problem and I'm scared of going through birth with someone who doesn't know anything about it or how to be helpful during it. He also knows nothing about babies and children. How is your SO doing about all this?
