I had light cramping like my period was on its way

I had bad cramps as one of my first pregnancy symptoms. I would say they feel exactly the same as far as location, but mine were a bit worse than what I experience when my period is starting. The big difference to me what the amount of time they lasted. With my period, I'd only experience cramps for like 2 days before it would start. When I got pregnant, it lasted 4 or so days and no period. That's when I tested and got my BFP. They lasted up until my 3rd trimester, too!
