Is 2 months too early to have a baby shower?

I am due in June,26. and I was thinking of having my baby shower in April. But is it too early???

I just thought it would be better to be on the safe side incase he comes early. But at the same time I'm thinking maybe it's too early and people will think it's weired.

My shower for my twijs was in july.. but I was due Dec.  I had mine early due to distance. I'm from NY but was living in NC due to the military and I was due too close to holidays... do it whenever you want! Usually more towards the end you look more pregnant and that's what everyone wants to see? Idk!

I had my shower when I was 28 weeks.  I had a LOT more energy at that point too.

I'm due aug 7th and my baby shower will be April 24th! I planned it that way so I would have more energy for the party and it also gives us enough time to purchase things that we aren't given...

Im due end of August and planning on having two becuz my mom n dad always throw me there own partys and live in diff places so ill be having one end of june and one first weekend of july its my first so im nervous baby might come early or something so i wish i was having it even sooner plus its going to be hot and everyone has told me the last two months are the worst so im freaking out

Due May 28th and my shower is on March 25th at 30 weeks so I have 10 weeks to make sure everything is set

With my first my shower was in April and I was due the end of July. It was early because we were moving from Oregon to Colorado that May. This time around it's going to be the beginning of May and I'm due the end of June.

I don't think so! My baby shower is going to be in my home town which is 2.5 hours away from where I live now. I didn't see myself making the drive down there when I was 8-9 months. I am 28 weeks today due May 22nd and my baby shower is this coming Saturday march 4th. It's what you want and if you feel that having it 2 months earlier is better for you than go for it girl!!! 💖🌸💖

I had 2 showers, one at 28 weeks and one at 32 weeks. Those dates were just worked out for the people planning them. Honestly I preferred it that way though because I was showing enough for people to see the belly, but I also had more energy to organize everything and nest before I was super big and it was more difficult to move around and bend over. Then I ended up having to be induced so I was extra thankful to have had a few extra weeks to prepare.
