FTM contractions?

When you were a ftm and going into labor did you know it? Like when you felt that first small contraction did you know you were starting labor? I'm so nervous I'm not gonna know I'm in labor...

It seriously felt like getting slammed in the stomach with a bag of bricks. I knew instantly what was happening, he was born 14 hours later.

You'll know, it'll keep you up. You won't be able to sleep. Mine started around 3am, went to the hospital at 6am. I was only 1cm and they were 3-6 mins apart 😩😩😩. Got the epidural right away lol.

Mine weren't painful but were uncomfortable enough that I couldn't sleep. So I cleaned my whole house, times contractions, organized random stuff, timed more contractions and then at 5 mins apart I woke my husband. Was still only at a 3 and that was at 5am. Had my son at 6 pm that day. I didn't get the epidural until later on the afternoon but I did take pain meds.
