when did you start buying stuff for your baby? I'm going on 16 weeks and won't know the sex for another month 😕

It's driving me crazy! I'm gonna be five months before I can buy anything for baby and I don't feel like I'm going to have enough time! Lol. I thought about buying a bassinet or a couple smaller things but I don't want to buy a lot until we know the sex.

I waited until after 20 weeks when the gender was confirmed(found out gender at 13 weeks but just wanted to be extra sure)

I waited until I knew the gender then I only bought my Big stuff sarseat stroller combo pack n play. My mom and sisters couldn't help it but get a few gender neutral outfits. I didn't buy anything else I waited til my baby shower and I got a lot so I didn't go crazy which I'm happy i didn't my son grew out of a lot of stuff plus he was born in July so he was either naked or in just a tshirt

I'm 17 weeks and I already got the baby its Thanksgiving outfit and its first Christmas outfit. They're both gender neutral and if baby is a girl I'll just make her a bow to go with the outfits. They were having a big baby sale and saw the outfits and I couldn't say no. I got the Thanksgiving one for $3 and the Christmas one for $1.87. I mean you can't beat the price for a full outfit.

After I found out the sex the only things I personally bought were a few clothes I couldn't resist and some small nursery decor. Anything else I wanted I put on my registry for my shower. I had my baby shower at 31 weeks and whatever I didn't receive through that I've been ordering/buying over the last few weeks. I'm now at 33 weeks and the only thing I'm waiting on is sheets and diaper bag. You have time, don't stress!

I've waited until gender scan which is tomorrow we have both booked the day off work to go baby shopping! Use this time to save money and have a look around for what you want to buy depending on gender so when you find out you already know costs, shops and are prepared for it :) we just got gender neutral things before we find out such as steriliser and breast pump, pram etc.
