Progesterone shot?

Has anyone used progesterone shot to help prevent preterm labour? If so how did it go?  Im going to be 16 weeks on monday and im starting it then!

I take the pill form of this and so far ( for once) my cervix is staying nice and long! Hopefully i can have a term and maybe even better full term baby!!! This is #4

I was on them until 34 weeks. I told my doctor I didn't want to do them anymore and we switched to a different medication. It did work to keep baby in though and that was the point.
