Late anatomy scan?

Long story short, I was supposed to have a doctors appointment at 18w, I was never able to make it so they scheduled me for today. I'm 22w now and I have not had an anatomy scan. Any idea how the appointment will go? Did anyone have a late scan because of scheduling too? I'm having an awful day :( so worried.

18-22 wks is the time frame. You're fine!

That's not late! I had one at 20 weeks and my baby was laying in a position where they couldn't take good measurements so I had to wait a month to go back. My appointment is scheduled for 31 weeks but I'm excited because the pictures will be so much more detail. 
Anatomy scan will be around 45min to 1 hour. They check your babies body parts including face to make sure everything is growing properly. They measure baby from head to toe and come up with the babies weight as well to confirm your due date a little better. Then they check all internal organs to make sure everything has developed properly. You also get a whole bunch of cute ultrasound pictures :) goodluck

It'll be just the same! I had two, one at 20 w and one at 24 w because the baby was too low in my pelvis so they couldn't see her brain. They went exactly the same (:

I had mine at 21+6 so pretty much 22 weeks. They didn't have any other appointments available (even though I made it 3 weeks in advance🙄). 22 weeks isn't too late though if anything it's better so the ultrasound tech can see everything more clearly. A scan at 18 would've been the same as this one at 22!
