Does my baby dislike the doppler?

I was using a fetal doppler this evening and as soon as I found the heartbeat, the baby kicked exactly on the spot where the doppler was on the skin. I know it doesn't hurt them, but do you think the baby doesn't like it? I've only had it about a week and this was the 4th time using it. Thanks.

Agree with Sara, I think they don't like being pressed on . When I lay on my belly for a bit sometimes I feel a kick, so I think the pressure is what causes that. My baby used to always swim away from the doppler but now that they're a little bigger they don't do it any more !

My son does this all the time lol he always kicks the doppler and the bands the hospital puts on your belly when they're monitoring heart rate. Idk why I think it's because he doesn't like things pressed on him 😂 he kicks any pressure I put on my stomach

No baby liked dopplers. Dopplers and ultrasounds are very loud for them...think rock concert

Doppler works by sound waves. It's very loud so babies usually run away from it. I read it's the equivalent of the sound of a speeding train.
