Who is right?

My husband and I have a tempur pedic bed from Mattress Firm. I really don't love it all that much and I don't find it comfortable. The payments are pretty expensive for something I don't really love, so I asked my husband if he could look into returning it so we could find a new bed that works for us better. (We are already past the trial stage where you can return it for free) 
He looked it up and it said that we could return it but we would then have to pay a cleaning fee and we would not get a refund. He thinks that after we return it, we would have to keep making payments on it.. 
That doesn't make any sense to me. If it is returned, we should owe nothing else besides the cleaning fee. 
Who is right? Please help me settle this feud 😂
