implantation bleeding?!?

Was in the hospital and due to it being a early pregnancy they couldn't see anything on the ultrasound and my hcg level was 18 so we retest tomorrow! Could I be having implantation bleeding? Does it have to be light bleeding or what?!? Its only when I wipe I'm not bleeding enough to wear a pad so I'm just curious and in need of some advice!

If they confirmed that you're pregnant and you're lightly bleeding and no clots then you're having implantation bleeding

That's not implantation bleeding. Implantation already happened if you had a positive pregnancy test. This confusion is why there seems to be an over reporting of implantation bleed claims. It can be quite common and normal to have some spotting in early pregnancy, but that's after implantation has occurred.

Went to the doctor today and they said it was probably a early miscarriage or eptopic but they don't want to rule anything out until my hcg level results come back.
