if I've been having trouble getting pregnant would I make an appointment with a Gyno? or someone else?

Me and my husband have been ttc for a little over a year so far. I've done ovulation tests and have never seen a positive and my periods have also been irregular.  My health insurance card FINALLY came today so now I can make an appointment to get me some help getting pregnant. I'm going to call tomorrow but don't know who I need to go to for help getting pregnant and to see if there's something wrong with me. Would I go to a gyno? What did you do?
