Is your baby crawling ??

My daughter is 7 months she will be 8 months on the 16th she is not crawling .. is that kinda normal?? She sits up and acts like she wants to crawl but then cries or grabs somthing to chew (teething) lol tummy time is 50/50 .. I stay at home so I just don't want her to be behind .  😔

I was coming on here to post this question! My daughter was born the day after yours, she'll be 8m on the 17th and isn't crawling yet. She rolls everywhere and is really good at it and fast. She can sit up fine with no support too. I blame social media. I wouldn't be concerned about it if I wasn't seeing other babies around her age on FB and IG that are already crawling, standing/pulling themselves up, etc. I'm working on stopping the comparisons. I've read some babies will wait until closer to 1 yr old to start crawling while others may skip it altogether and go straight into walking.

My baby turned 8 months on 3/2 and isn't crawling either. She just started showing interest in it and is trying to scoot/army crawl but that's about it. She was also a late back-to-belly roller, just did that at 7 months but rolled tummy to back at 3? So it's strange. My conclusion is that she just really disliked tummy time and didn't want to subject herself to it, but now she's coming around to it because she realizes she can get to get toys by herself. I agree with another poster about comparing though, I wouldn't worry if it didn't seem like everyone else's baby on social media wasn't ahead of mine. But at the same time I'm sure more people post about their babies doing things early so it seems that way but they are probably still in the minority.

It's normal she'll do it when she's ready. My son crawled the day he turned 7 months. Just takes time talk to your pediatrician if you're worried

Nope! My daughter won't be 8 months until the 26th and she has no interest in crawling. She starts crying as soon as she gets on her belly. 😅

My baby will be 8 months on the 18th and he just started to crawl on hands and knees last week he army crawled they'll get it don't worry. I'm still shocked at him because his sister was so delayed as a baby( we found out this year she has a mild form of spina bifida) and we're testing to see if there's another condition she could have a touch of. She sat at 10.5 months crawled at 12.5 months and walked at 14. Our almost 8 month old is starting to pull up on stuff and he wants to go go go like his older brother did

I was worried about this too! My lo is going to be 8 months on the 7th and showed no interest in crawling. Just the othr day i posted this pic that she'd rather roll around than crawl. 
She cant sit but cant pull herself up.
And guess what ? Just today she started attempting to crawl!! Kind of. She looked kind of like a snail lol she would put jer booty in the air and kind of like drag herself. Im hoping this is the beginning of our mobile journey!

My kid is a log...he either rolls or wiggles lol. Hates his stomach but loves bouncing in the bouncy swing!
