parents who don't discipline their children.

I CANT STAND THIS. I nanny for a family who doesn't believe in any form of discipline, not even consequences. It drives me nuts. No time outs. No taking away priveledges. Nothing. I understand not wanting to "yell" at your children and not wanting to spank, but come on. Children need to learn consequences and that when an adult says something, it goes. I cannot stand parents who think children should have the run of things and make their own decisions about EVERYTHING. I'm all for letting children find who they are, but come on, lack of discipline breeds BRATS. End rant.
