I finally have the chance to vent my pain. Well as most of us, I had to go on maternity leave back in December last year and I was supposed to go back on February 1st 2017. A week before I was about to go back to work I emailed my supervisor from Kelly services (I was a temporary employer at 'X' company) and my supervisor from my actual job. This last one never replied back but the one from KS did. She said that the customer had said that I should wait on going back to work and they would let me know. This was so weird to me - I was like 'mhmm are the gonna fire me even though I was on FMLA? Something that I also made sure to mention my sup from KS. Three days later my sup from KS contacted my saying that the customer said that I can return to work on feb 6th until feb 17th due to lack of work. Which to me was weird and no fair since there's always a lot to do... plus i trained this two people so they could do my job WHILE I was gone. The sup and the senior from there always told me that it was just temporary and not to worry about it. They liked me and were happy with me because I was great at my job. Guess they didn't care I just had my baby because they laid me off. I'm so hurt. Everything was legal however my sup, who by the way was new to the position, hated me since day one I BELIEVE. Who does such a thing to a first time mom???
