okay so i had my first appointment on tuesday & some of the stuff my doctor told me concerned me. first, they gave me a urine test and confirmed my pregnancy. second, she went over what to expect, medicines i can take, tests i can have etc. then explained the blood work i would have after my visit and then told me i wont have my first ultrasound until 18-20 weeks... is this odd to some people? i even expressed my concerns with twins running on my mothers side of my family & she didnt seem concerned. today they called w my blood results and when i asked for my levels she told me they dont check for your hcg or hgc (ftm here, idk what im doing lol) levels until later on. wtf??? so if i AM carrying twins i wont know until 18-20 werks which gives me approximately 4 months to prepare for a whollleee other baby. is this weird to some of you? i thought it was.
