I think that's enough time to hit the road if you start feeling contractions. Most women go to the hospital too early. Although...some women have extremely short labors but that's not the norm.

I'm a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding 2 weeks before my due date. Her wedding is 3 hours away from my doctor. Unless something happens, I plan on being there!
