​ This time last year I was beginning my second trimester with my daughter and couldn't be happier. After a seemingly normal and beautiful pregnancy, I watched as the seasons changed and my belly grew, excited for every ultrasound to see a glimpse of our growing girl. Just 2 days after the baby shower, at 37 weeks exactly, I went in for an exam and there was no heart beat. Nothing can prepare you for something like this and there was not a clear explanation of what had happened. It didn't make sense. The past 8 months have been the most painful and confusing times for me and my husband. Once we decided it may be time to try again, I just expected it to be as easy to get pregnant as the last time- it was not. Today is the first sign of hope in our broken home. Please if you believe in prayer, pray for us. Pray for our first born who we love and lost and pray for the hope of a brighter future with this hopeful sign of something to look forward to. ❤
