How long before you knew they were the one?

How did you guys meet? How did you know and how did it evolve? I met the love of my life a few years after a very destructive relationship. We fit together like a puzzle piece. Share your story!

Immediately. There is no room for doubts. 
I will say we knew eachother years before we dated. At that point i was 14..he was my brother's 18 year old friend....and we didn't see eachother like that. 
But as adults we met up and it was the same day that i knew.there was no ice to break so everything was so natural... We didn't start saying it for about a month..but i don't think there was ever a time that love "showed up". Love was always there. Our hearts knew eachother before we did. 
We were married 6 months later and it's been 5 amazing years! I have never had a doubt that he was the one!

I thought he definitely could be after the first date, I figured he probably was after a few months and I knew he definitely was after a couple years.

The whole relationship has always had this feeling where I never saw an end to it in sight but neither of us are the type to get married after only dating a tiny amount of time either so it suited us to take a couple years to be sure.

The day I first saw him. (Not the day I first met him. The day I saw him from afar. I didn't even know his name.) All I knew was, for one: my heart skipped a beat. Two: a sense of dejavu came over me, Three:I could not stop staring out the window. Four: I felt I was being torn between my heart, and logic. My heart was telling me he was the one, and I felt drawn to him. Logic was telling me to get a damn grip, you're just crushing, it's your hormones talking. Chill. I was around 13/14 years old at the time. So, I dropped it. Tried not to think about it, and then I started dating this guy when I was 15. Just a few months after I started dating him, I got to meet my husband face to face. We didn't talk. But, I did find out his name. My Mother said to me at that point, "There goes the perfect man for you!" I completely dismissed her, reminded her, I had a boyfriend and secretly went to my room and broke down in tears because I had really bad self esteem issues and I just knew, that a guy like that would never go for someone like me! Well then, later on a couple years later, it was homecoming and I once again came face to face with him again when my boyfriend wanted to show me off to my neighbor who happened to be friends with my husband. Again, we didn't talk. But when we turned to leave, he smiled at me and tipped his hat at me and I realized there was something there. Couple months later, my BF and I broke up. I was 17 and had had enough! I had to talk to him and as fate would have it, my car wouldn't start and he was there! He helped me get my car started and then I asked him if he wanted to go for a drive and we did... been together ever since! He was definitely the one!

I met my hubby and the father of my daughters when I was 16 through a mutual friend. We have been together for 20 years. We grew up together within our relationship, evolved quite a bit, and we've been through a lot together. We are simply very compatible people and are still madly in love with each other. We also make one another better people.

Figured I'd give you guys my story too! I met my husband at bat and usually I'm pretty shy with new people but that day I kept wanting to reach over and grab his and hug him and I constantly found myself stopping those actions because after all, I had just met him. He didn't kiss me that night and I thought for sure I'd felt more chemistry than him. On my way home I got a text from him saying how nice it had been to meet me and that he really liked me, and asked me to hang out the next day. Next day we went to dinner and the back to his house where we hung out outside until I began to get sleepy and again, no kiss. Next day I made his favorite dessert and brought it over to his house where he introduced me to his mom and sister, and finally that night he kissed me. Then I knew, for sure, he was the one. That kiss will forever, be my favorite kiss!

I know him from my bff on 2008 after a few weeks known each other we date...on 2009 we got pregnant he super excited about it on the same years 7/11/2009 we got married until now...yes we go through ups and down he tolerate with my attitudes he always give me what i want sometimes 😆😆 i love him with all my heart❤❤❤ here our family of 3 but now our son is 7yrs old already why grow so fast😭😭😭
