Convertable car seat without base?

Does anyone know of a cheap (under $80-$90) convertible car seat that can be used with or without the base? So it has to have the seatbelt guides on the seat like in the picture. We don't have a car of our own and will need to take Uber and Lyft every once in a while, so it's a must have. Any recommendations?

The picture is an infant seat. Only infant seats have bases. And a lot of them can used without a base, like the Graco snugrides.

Convertible car seats can be used rear or forward facing, don't have bases, and can be used with seat belts. It sounds like you want a convertible seat so you have lots of options and don't need bases.

You can get a Cosco scenera next from Walmart for around $40. It's a convertible seat.

Convertible car seats do not use bases. I'd suggest getting something lightweight-- someone suggested the cosco scenera next (available at Walmart). Lightweight and inexpensive. They can be installed using the lap belt, but it will go under the seat, not over the top. Pretty easy to install. Definitely make sure it's lightweight if you'll be installing it in different cars frequently.
