Tear prevention?

I am literally so scared of the actual delivery of the baby more than anything else. I don't know how I'll handle stitches down there 😭 does anybody know any tips to help prevent tearing? I am so freaked out by it. 😢

Honestly the tearing and stitches aren't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

PP care sucks yes, but that's what the little peri bottle is for 🙌🏻 And that thing will save your life.

With my DD I was the same and inserteted evening primrose oil pills vaginally right before bed starting at 37 weeks. It melted through the night. I did not tear at all delivering her and attribute the oil helping make that happen

It wasn't that bad. I was up walking the next day and never even had to take pain meds. Just a little sore for a week.

I did perineal massage. I only had two micro fissures so no real tearing with stitches or anything.

It wasn't bad at all!! I had a second degree tear and they had to put gauze up my business after delivery to help stop the bleeding. But I never experienced any pain associated with the tear or stitches! The only thing that was weird is when the stitches started falling out and I forgot I even had stitches so thought I had a worm in my panties 😂😂

I was scared of tearing. I got a 3rd degree tear and I honestly didn't even feel it and I didn't feel the stitches.

The after care was more of a pain.
